Overview
Flava came to Chanan for a product film with no product to shoot. We built the hardware in CGI and lit it like a real set, so the film could run before a single unit existed.

Challenge
Selling the tactility of a device that had never been photographed — every material cue had to be earned in the render rather than borrowed from a real shoot.

Direction
Daylight and clean sky rather than a dark studio. Soft blues against warm copper, shot in macro so the eye reads finish and weight before it reads the whole object.

Design
We storyboarded around detail beats — dial, edge, seam — letting the camera move slowly enough that the surfaces do the talking.

Build
Physically-based materials with measured roughness and anisotropy on the metal, rendered against an HDRI sky with depth of field resolved in-camera rather than in post.

Outcome
A launch film and a library of macro stills, both delivered before manufacturing — so marketing ran ahead of the production line instead of behind it.
